from £10.00

Our monthly appreciation of live music, poets and food!

and this moth we welcome ‘CARLA’

Producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Carla was previously known for her self produced eponymous debut EP. In the years since its release, she has used the time to reflect and curate a new body of work, which embodies her relationship with music today. While it hasn’t always been a requited love, her honesty is reflected within her songwriting, and her struggle to find balance between surviving in London and pursuing her art, resonates throughout. Carla's introduction to music started at age 6 with classical violin and flute before being heavily involved in jazz bands, singing in clubs across London as a teen. Her Venezuelan heritage has inspired her love for folk music, and her sound today references a blend of influences - from the poetic tone of Simon Diaz, to Radiohead's marriage of acoustic with electronic.

Eating together is what makes these nights so special… please make sure you come hungry and arrive before 8pm to grab your portion of our delicious curry and rice.

See you there x
