Leo x Friends.
Leo x friends is an evening to celebrate good food and good friendship, through the best way there is - Music, poetry, the gathering of incredible people!
This event was born after a few tough weeks grieving my best friend Adam Bolton who passed away in 2019. Now and since his passing we celebrate his life often. I’d love to know if Adam could see us celebrating him, chanting his name, toasting, crying and reminiscing together.
These thoughts got me thinking…Why don’t we celebrate our friends more whilst there here? Why don’t we open up to them more often? And why we tell our neighbours that we love them!?
In vulnerability and connection there is power and in my small circle it helps.
I want to celebrate my friends today. And at Leo x Friends, I want us to collectively think of what friendship truly means to us. To think about our best friends, friends we’ve made whilst travelling and even our acquaintances or the people we only connect with a few times a year, but every time its like we never left. Let’s think about our neighbours, and of course our family, the friends we didn’t have to choose!
I welcome you to join me for an evening celebrating and appreciating our brothers, sisters, mothers, friends and that guy you pass on the street.

What to expect on the night
FOOD
Seasonal Vegan Curry: Every month, Jack aka LEO cooks a beautiful curry made with only love. The concept of every one eating together will always run through this night. Sharing food is what brings us together!
ACTS
Local and up and coming poets and musicians. We hold a regular spot for our resident band Illajoy, a soulful quartet that always bring an absolute vibe every month.
Each month we have a guest artist, acts including Kid cruise, SRF and JJ sterry, KeepVibesNear are just a few to mention.
We have a whole range of poets from all different back grounds performing each month. Each poet has a different story to tell and I feel this what makes this night special!
Words don’t do this night justice. Its for every one. If you’re looking for a safe space to come chill, party, escape, connect. Then Leo x Friends is for you.
We always want this night to be accessible to all. Its pay what you can ranging from £10-£20…..But if times are really tough and you need a night out. Please don’t hesitate to email us at hello@leofood.co.uk and we’ll put you on the list.
